INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY OFFERS AID TO TURKEY AFTER EARTHQUAKE

Fifteen countries including Israel and Greece have offered aid to Turkey after a strong quake hit southeastern Turkey on Sunday.

Azerbaijan, Israel, the USA, Britain, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Switzerland, China, Kosovo, Japan and Greece as well as Iran, Georgia, Bulgaria have offered help after the quake disaster.

The same countries also extended their sorrow for the deaths and the wounded.

Foreign ministers of Greece, Iran and Kosovo telephoned Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu to reiterate their offer for help.

Turkey has not made any call for an international aid so far.
