TURKISH CENTRAL BANK RAISED REQUIRED RESERVE RATIOS
Foreign currency requirement is now at 10%, from the previous 9.5%.

Required reserve ratios were determined as 5% in Turkish Liras and 10% in foreign currency. Banks have to keep a part of their deposits in a central bank account.

And the bank occasionally fixes the rate according to the potential risk in the markets. The notification announcing the fresh rates has taken effect.
